Product Description

12-blade neoprene impeller for the Johnson F8B raw water pump family, fitting Detroit Diesel V-series, Caterpillar 3304 and 3306 series, and Volvo Penta high-speed TAMD and TMD marine diesel engines. 12-spline drive, 25mm shaft. Supplied with cap.

At 95mm OD and 63mm length this is a large impeller in keeping with the engines and pump it serves. The Johnson F8B is one of the most widely fitted raw water pumps in medium to heavy commercial and leisure marine applications, and the 17935-0001 impeller is the standard service item for the entire F8B range.

Important note for Volvo Penta applications: early lower-speed TMD series engines used a 9-blade impeller rather than this 12-blade version. If you are servicing an early Volvo Penta TMD installation, confirm your engine variant before ordering — see SM-2213 (Osculati 16.194.07, CEF 105) for the 9-blade alternative. For all Volvo Penta high-speed TAMD engines the 12-blade version (this part) is correct.

Note on drive type: this impeller uses a 12-spline shaft at 25mm diameter. This is the same shaft diameter as SM-2193 (CEF 152) in this range, but SM-2193 uses a double flat drive. The two are not interchangeable despite sharing the same OD and shaft size — confirm your pump model before ordering.
