Domestic Shipping

We currently offer shipping within the United Kingdom.

Dispatch Time

We usually dispatch all orders placed by 2pm on that same day.  In the rare event that something prevents us from despatching your order as planned we will get in touch with you to let you know, and offer a refund if desired.

If you are placing an order after 2pm and are in a hurry, please do get in touch by phone – we may still be able to get your order dispatched that day, depending on circumstances.

For custom items (such as our swaged wire rope assemblies) we aim to dispatch these within 2 days of your order placement.

Our Carriers

Our carriers our Royal Mail and DHL.  You can choose your preferred carrier and delivery service at the checkout stage.  Our normal services are as follows:

•    Royal Mail 2nd class (starting at £4.32 depending on package weight)
•    Royal Mail 1st class (starting at £5.05 depending on package weight)
•    DHL Next Working Day (starting at £8.80 depending on package weight)

For some areas (eg Scotish Highlands) it may not be possible to deliver by the next-working day, in such cases, and where you have selected ‘next working day’ we will send using the quickest service available (commonly 48 hours for the Highlands).

Free Delivery

Orders totalling £60 or more qualify for free delivery, using our Next Working Day service. If you have a particular wish for us to use a carrier other than DHL, please get in touch by phone to discuss the options.

Exceptional Items

Some items, due to their length or nature (eg items containing flammable liquids) are not available to dispatch with Royal Mail, this will become apparent in your options at checkout.

Delivery Tracking

Our standard Royal Mail services are not tracked (this is to offer the most economical service to you)  If you require a fully tracked service please select our DHL Next Working Day service.
