Product Description

Polished stainless steel tube, sold by the metre.  Choice of diameters, 20mm 22mm, 25mm and 30mm, with wall thickness of 1.5mm and 2mm.  316L stainless steel tube stock, useful for grab rails, hand rails, bimini frames, canopy frames, canvas hood frames.

The finish of our stainless steel tubing is mirror polished, making it attractive to look at, as well as giving the best corrosion resistance for your boat and marine projects.

Bending Stainless Steel Tube

Our stainless steel tubing responds well to bending, of course with suitable equipment.  With the 25mm O/D tubing we find that a centre-line bend radius of 3.5 inches (89mm) is achievable (just).  On occasion some rippling on the compression surface can be seen.  Alternatively, a bend radius of 4.5 inches (114mm) is reliable every time. 

For our 30mm stainless steel tubing with 2mm wall thickness, a centre-line bend radius of 114mm is fine.

Our 316L stainless steel tube is sold by the metre, sold as standard in 1m and 2m lengths, if you would like us to cut your order to a specific length please call us before placing your order.  We also sell this tubing in 3m lengths, but please allow a day or two extra for us to arrange collection and delivery.

Welding Polished Stainless Steel Tube (316 Grade)

Our stainless steel tubing gives great results when TIG welded.  Use 316L welding rod for best results.
