Product Description

6-blade neoprene impeller for Jabsco raw water pumps as fitted to Yanmar 2GM and 3GM series sailing yacht diesels, Yanmar 2QM and 3QM series, Kohler marine generator sets and Renault marine inboard engines. Keyed drive, 12.7mm shaft. Impeller only — no accessories included.

The Yanmar 2GM20F and 3GM30F are among the most widely installed small inboard diesels ever put into a sailing yacht, with hundreds of thousands of examples still in active service in cruising boats around the world. If you are servicing a sailing yacht with a Yanmar auxiliary from the 1980s through to the mid-2000s, the 124223-42091 or 22799-0001 is very likely the impeller you need — but read the fitment note below before ordering.

Important fitment note — Yanmar European-built engines: this impeller fits Yanmar 2GM20F and 3GM30F engines built up to 1996. It does not fit European-manufactured versions from 1997 onwards — these can be identified by a serial number beginning with E. European-spec engines from 1997 use a different pump and impeller. If your serial number starts with E, confirm your pump model before ordering.

Note — not the same as SM-2207: the Yanmar 1GM10 single-cylinder engine (SM-2207, Jabsco 21414-0001) uses a much smaller impeller at 31.3mm OD. SM-2210 and SM-2207 are not interchangeable. If you are unsure which Yanmar engine you have, the 1GM10 is a single-cylinder unit; the 2GM20F and 3GM30F are two and three-cylinder units respectively.
