Thru Deck Waterproof Cable Gland – 12 to 20mm Cable Diameter – 316-Grade Stainless Steel

Product Description

A quality marine grade 316 stainless steel deck cable gland that comes with two separate glands and a black rubber circular seal. Use our cable gland fittings for a sealed outlet for electrical cables that must pass from the outside to the inside of your boat.
This waterproof thru deck fitting will retain its appearance even when exposed to a harsh marine environment. 

Secure the gland housing to the deck by using the 3 countersunk screw holes provided.  Also be sure to apply sealant between the flange and the deck.  Not recommended for submerged areas of your boat.

Attach the gland housing either with our 4.2mm self-tapping stainless screws, or with our M4 set-screws - refer to the hole size when selecting set-screw size.  Also, if using set-screws for attachment, you can find corresponding nuts and washers in our fixings section.

Use these waterproof cable glands when the cable is going to be fitted once as a permanent route (though they may easily be dismantled for maintenance).  Alternatively, if you need to connect and disconnect your electrical equipment regularly, take a look at our waterproof plugs instead.
