These hinges operate like a normal ‘butt’ hinge, but they can be lifted off to separate the two parts. This feature is useful for cases where you sometimes want to lift off the door for better access (without the need for taking out screws). These removable hinges are great for engine room access doors, or any case where the door gets a bit ‘in the way’ at times.

These 2 part hinges have a polished finish, and their marine-grade stainless steel construction make them ideal for both interior and exterior use. Made up of two parts they are available in left or right side options.

These hinges come with 4 countersunk fixing holes which are 5.6mm in diameter. Attach these hinges with M5 set screws (if using ‘nut and bolt’) or 4.8mm self tapping screws. For a ‘classic’ look you might want to use our raised slot countersunk set screws.
