Teak Handrail – Two Sizes Available - 580mm Or 840mm Overall Length

These handrails are manufactured in teak and are available in two sizes -  580mm or 840mm long. Nicely finished soft round feel to the handle with shaped flat bases to secure in place.

We are very happy with the quality and finish of these teak hand-rails and we would be proud to have them on our boat.  Ideal for fitting on your boat’s coach roof for a secure and attractive holding on point.  Of course these can also be used inside if required.

For fixing these teak hand rails there are two main options, both needing access to the underside of the fitting area.  Option 1 is to apply self-tapping stainless steel screws from the underside, going upwards into the handle mounting pads.  

The other option is to use a thru nut and bolt, carefully drilling down through the handrail above each of the mounting areas (we highly recommend using a Forstner bit to minimise any splintering).  Fixing will then be done using one of our stainless steel set-screws, nuts and washers, and the holes can be plugged using our teak dowel plugs.

In either case, we would recommend using our Sikaflex sealant between the hand rail and the mounting surface.
