Sprung Lockable Hasp – Polished 316-Grade Stainless Steel – With Twist Lock Key

Product Description

This swivel hasp with a twist lock system is manufactured in A4 stainless steel to ensure that even when exposed to a harsh marine environment it will retain its appearance. 

With an overall length of 82mm and width of 25mm. This hasp has a spring motion movement with a locking system using a key to lock and unlock.

The hasp locks onto a ‘button’, so the main body of the hasp is attached to one part (eg cockpit moulding) and the ‘button’ is attached to the corresponding part (eg cockpit locker).  The hasp then hooks over the button and is latched down in place to keep the locker or hatch closed.

To aid with getting the perfect positioning of the button relative to the main hasp body, the button is adjustable – the central button fixing hole is deliberately off-centre so that the button can be rotated to give a tighter or looser position.

This item comes with a plastic measure to aid installation of this hasp.  You will need x1 screw for the button and x2 screws for the hasp.  

If using self-tapping screws, we would suggest our 3.5mm size.  If using a thru nut and bolt (preferred) our M4 set screws are suited.
