Boat lacing hook for boats made from 316 stainless steel.  These have 2 holes in a vertical arrangement for compactness.  Lacing hooks can be secured to masts, booms or directly to your fibreglass or wooden deck. 

Although we label these as lacing hooks (or canopy hooks), actually they are a very useful small hook for various uses around the boat. 

The common use of lacing hooks is to attach them where needed to secure the lower edges of boat canopies using elastic cord.  Additionally they can be attached to a mast or boom to secure a sail cover in place - again with elastic cord (shock cord). 

These lacing hooks have vertical fixing holes with a diameter of 4.7mm.  Secure these hooks with either self-tapping screws or pop rivets depending on material.  For attaching these lacing hooks to aluminium masts we would suggest using pop-rivets.  For attaching to wood or fibreglass we would recommend using our stainless steel self-tapping screws.

Another popular use for boat lacing hooks is for attaching the edges of cargo netting.  The maximum diameter of the line / rope / shock cord that fits into this hook is just around 7mm.
