Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, the TruDesign Non-Return Valve is a lightweight, corrosion-free way to prevent water backflow or siphoning anywhere in your onboard plumbing system. Moulded from a UV-stabilised, glass-reinforced nylon composite, it combines high strength and impact resistance with a fraction of the weight of a traditional metal valve and can be safely used in direct sunlight without degrading.

The valve's construction makes it "water hammer safe," remaining insensitive to sudden pressure shocks within the pipeline, while an internal stainless steel spring ensures reliable, corrosion-free operation with no risk of the valve sticking open over time. A low cracking pressure means minimal force is needed to open the valve, keeping restriction on flow rate to a minimum.

As an in-line fitting, it requires minimal installation space and no additional fittings, connecting directly onto hose with clamps at each end. A printed white arrow clearly indicates the direction of water flow for quick, foolproof installation. Please note this is not suitable for use in marine sanitation systems.
