The TruDesign Straight Hose Tail provides a strong, corrosion-free connection between hose and male BSP threaded fittings, making it ideal for a wide range of onboard plumbing applications. Moulded from a glass-reinforced nylon composite, it combines high strength, stiffness and dimensional stability with a significant weight saving over traditional brass or bronze equivalents.

Unlike metal alternatives, this composite construction is completely immune to corrosion and electrolysis, ensuring long-term, worry-free performance below and above the waterline. The barb design is built for twin hose clamps and will not crush or deform under high load, giving a secure, leak-free connection that lasts. The parallel BSP thread offers universal compatibility with TruDesign ball valves, skin fittings and other standard marine fittings.

Resistant to diesel, petrol and household chemicals, this hose tail performs reliably across a wide temperature range and features a high-quality finish that won't discolour with the green film common to bronze fittings.
