Stainless Steel Butt Hinge, 40x30mm, 304-Grade Stainless Steel Hinge

Product Description

Stainless steel butt hinges, made from 304-grade stainless steel.  Use these stainless hinges for doors, hatches and cabinets.  Use for exterior jobs where a regular steel hinge does not have the corrosion resistance needed.

These stainless steel butt hinges have 4.3mm diameter countersunk fixing holes.  Attach these hinges with M5 set-screws (if using 'nut and bolt') or 4.8mm self-tapping screws. 

These butt hinges are 1.5mm thick, giving a robust performance without being too intrusive.  The 304-grade stainless is less suited to marine exterior use than some of our many 316-grade hinges.  That said, they are perfectly well-suited to boat interior use such as locker doors.
