This ResQ-Tape repair tape is a silicone tape that fuses to itself and can even be used under water.  We have witnessed this being used on a burst water pipe gushing out water – successfully repairing the leak without turning off the water.

The silicone material used for this emergency repair tape is resistant to fuels, oil, acids and solvents – making it a must-have for your boat tool kit supply.

In addition to pipe repair, this tape is also electrically insulating (insulates 12,000 volts per layer) and is heat resistant up to 260 Celcius.

Self-fusing silicone tape is also used for wrapping around any sharp objects (eg split-pins) at the bottom of rigging shrouds to help keep your sails safe from abrasion.

Gives a permanent seal, can be applied under water, will never get gummy or sticky.  Stretchable up to 400%.
