Vintage brass boat air scoop (Dorade) vent.  This appears to be in unused condition, but could do with a polish up to bring it to tip-top condition.  The vent is in 2 pieces allowing for adustment of its angle, a brass thumb-screw is used to lock the vent at its chosen angle. This brass dorade vent is ideal for ventilating your engine room or heads on your traditional boat.

This is quite a chunky (and robust) vent with a weight of 1.25 kg. Some key dimensions are given below:
