A4 stainless steel Nyloc nuts (nylon insert nuts) for ultimate rust resistance and vibration resistance.  Use stainless steel Nyloc nuts as a first choice for attaching cleats, fairleads and other deck fittings.  The nylon insert at the top of these stainless steel nuts gives a constant anti-loosening force stopping them from coming undone.  We recommend Nyloc nuts in preference to regular stainless steel nuts in the majority of uses.

The thread specification for these nuts is standard metric, making them compatible with most metric bolts and set-screws.  Use these nuts in conjunction with penny washers for good load spreading where space allows.  If you require a free-running nut then consider using our regular stainless steel full-nuts instead.
