At CBFS we are building an exact full size but non flying replica of a Hawker Biplane Aircraft and are using the Turnbuckle Fork End Fittings at either end of the mainplane struts where they attach to the fuselage or the upper / lower wings. They are ideal as they are close to the original design which is unobtainable.

Many thanks for your review of our stainless steel turnbuckles. That sounds like a very interesting project you are working on. (I'm pretty sure my dad built a radio controlled model of one of them, back in the 70's)
