Product Description

Stainless steel wire rope, 316-grade stainless, 1x19 construction.  This wire rope is the stiffer construction than our 7x19 type, and due to its superior corrosion and staining resistance is recommended for sailing boat rigging shrouds, stays and guard rails.

Our 1x19 construction 316-strainless wire rope has quite a stiff feel (when you try to bend it) so is recommended for swage end fittings that do not need a tight bend – it is less easy to bend into tight end loops for clamping, or bending around wire thimbles.  For tight bends we would recommend our 7x19 wire rope.
