At the heart of this system is a 600GPH pump which is activated by a built-in float switch which pumps out the waste water once the water level in the sump reaches a pre-determined level.  The sump incorporates a mesh strainer to keep larger debris from entering the pump.  The pump can be removed from the sump for periodic servicing / cleaning, and incorporates a non-return valve.
