Keep your boat canvas and covers waterproof with this easy to apply formula.

Fabsil Gold is a concentrated highly effective silicone-based water repellent for all kinds of outdoor kit.  It will bond to a wide range of fabrics including canvas, cotton, polyester and nylon producing a strong, waterproof barrier against rain.

Apply to clean and dry fabric with a paintbrush or coarse spray. I Litre of Fabsil will cover up to 18 sq metres of nylon, 7.5 sq metres of light weight canvas or 5 sq metres of medium weight canvas.

Over a period of time, canopies and covers gradually lose their water-proof properties.  When you notice that rain water is no longer beeding on the surface of your canopy (but rather seeping into the fabric) it is time to apply a new waterproofing coat.
