Our Marine-Grade A4 stainless steel wire thimbles provide maximum corrosion resistance for salt-water marine environments. The superior corrosion resistance of these A4 grade wire thimbles make them a great choice for sailing, motor boating and other water-sports applications. Wire thimbles are commonly used for terminating the ends of cables or wire ropes and can also be used for terminating ropes (often in conjunction with splicing) to create a loop at the end of the cable or rope for attaching with a shackle or similar.
