Our Marine-Grade A4 stainless steel long D-shackles provide maximum corrosion resistance for salt-water marine environments. The superior corrosion resistance of these A4 grade long D-shackles make them a great choice for sailing, motor boating and other water-sports applications. D shackles are commonly used for attaching ropes, anchors and chains for sailing, rigging or lifting applications. These extra long version of the common D shackle make them well suited to attaching halyards to sails, the extra length needed to span the distance from the corner of the sail to the eyelet.
